ESTUDIO DE LA INTRODUCCION DE OVINOS EN PARCELAS AGROFORESTALES

El estudio se llevó a cabo entre los años de 1993 y 1994, en las instalaciones del campo experimental del Centro Regional de Investigaciones del IIAP-Madre de Dios en el Km 22.3 de la carretera a Mazuko. El estudio consistió en evaluar el impacto de la introducción de ovinos de pelo en parcelas agroforestales establecidas entre 1989 y 1992, las cuales estaban constituidas principalmente por castaña asociadas a cultivos frutales, en algunos casos frutales y pastos y en un caso castaña asociada a pastos leguminosos. El estudio se inició en enero de 1993 con un capital pecuario de 78 cabezas, hato constituido por ovinos de diferentes edades y culminó en diciembre de 1994 con una población de 154 cabezas de ganado ovino.Downloads
